Patients often ask us if they will feel ‘groggy’ after going under general anaesthetic. One of the best things about IV sedation is that it has very little ‘hangover’.
You won’t feel groggy, just a little drowsy, and you’ll feel fresh the next day after a good night of rest following your procedure. You’ll need someone to take you home after your procedure, as the IV sedative will still be wearing off patients.
