25 Feb Dental Implants, replacing lost teeth
Why put up with gaps in your smile ?
Sadly, many adults lose teeth through accident or lifestyle, and there was a time when a gap left by a lost tooth was nothing to worry about…… or so we thought.
In 21st Century healthcare we know the impact that losing a lost tooth can bring to the remaining teeth and jaw bone. The remaining teeth can drift, and tilt, causing all sorts of chewing and function problems, as well as the loss of bone from where the tooth was removed. There is also a secondary matter, the impact a gap has on our smile, our confidence, and our ability to speak clearly.
When Dental Implants first became available they were a complicated and long-term treatment. However, as the demand increased, the implant manufacturers invested in the necessary research and development to simplify and speed up dental implant placements.
At Bancroft Dentistry in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, I have been placing, working with, and caring for dental implants for over 10 years. Holding a Master’s degree in dental Implantology gives me the knowledge to be able to complete most treatments here, so you can have everything carried out under one roof.
